Terms of Service
Effective date: August 2026
1. The Service
Inquesta provides AI-generated informational reports and related tools (briefs, widgets, evidence bundles, API). All content is produced by automated systems without human editorial review, as prominently disclosed throughout the Service.
2. Nature of content — no reliance
(a) Content is provided for general information only. It is not journalism reviewed by human editors, and not legal, financial, medical, investment, or other professional advice.
(b) Claim grades describe the output of our automated source-assessment process as defined at Grade definitions; they are not representations that any statement is true.
(c) You agree not to rely on the Service as a sole basis for any decision with legal, financial, or safety consequences, and to independently verify content before acting on or republishing it.
3. Accuracy disclaimer
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, CURRENCY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI SYSTEMS PRODUCE ERRORS, INCLUDING SIGNIFICANT ONES; SOURCES MAY BE WRONG; REPORTS REFLECT SOURCES AVAILABLE AT GENERATION TIME ONLY.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is capped at the greater of (i) amounts you paid us in the preceding 12 months and (ii) EUR 100; we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or reputational loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or rights that consumers cannot waive under applicable law (including Directive 93/13/EEC and the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act).
5. Your use — republication
(a) You may quote and share content with attribution and a link, preserving the AI-generated labeling. Stripping AI-disclosure labels from republished content is a material breach of these Terms.
(b) You are solely responsible for the consequences of your republication of, or reliance on, content — including toward third parties.
6. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, including republication without the required AI-generated labeling or in violation of Section 2(c).
7. Corrections, right of reply, takedown
The Corrections & right of reply policy is part of these Terms. We may update, correct, annotate, or unpublish any report at any time; the public corrections log is the record.
8. API and widgets
API and embed users must (i) propagate the ai_generated flag and visible AI-generated labeling, (ii) not present content as human-verified, and (iii) pass through links to Grade definitions. Violation terminates the license.
9. Accounts, acceptable use, intellectual property, privacy
Account registration requires accurate information and safeguarding of credentials. Prohibited uses include scraping content to launder it as human-written, and any use of the Service for harassment or targeting of individuals. Reports, software, and the Service remain our intellectual property; you grant us a license to use content you submit (error flags, replies) for the operation of the Service. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference. Our point of contact under the Digital Services Act is legal@inquesta.ai.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law; the courts of Sofia have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer venue rules. Consumers in the EU may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
11. Changes
We may amend these Terms with notice; continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance. For consumers, notice periods and objection rights required by applicable law apply.
